If you are interested in tutoring, we offer one-on-one sessions in public speaking or Speech & Debate! Here is a preview to what that looks like:
General Public Speaking:
This is recommended if your child is not interested in Speech & Debate or is still in elementary school and wants to build general public speaking skills.
Speech & Debate:
In Speech & Debate, there are countless events that your child can participate in! Here are a few examples of the events:
- Original Oratory
- Impromptu
- Dramatic Interpretation
- Extemporaneous Speaking
- Debate events
- And so many more!
These tutoring sessions will first introduce them to the basics of different events, giving them a feel for many styles of speaking. The lessons will focus on your child's favorite event and give them a strong foundation to master it.
This will be very helpful in building your child's foundational public speaking skills but will also give them a huge competitive advantage if they are interested in joining Speech & Debate in middle and high school. Most students don't have that prior experience.
These sessions are $50 an hour and can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or whenever you need the additional help.
